Dr Jaswinder Bassi
Dr. J.Bassi is a graduate of PAU in India, after working in other clinics he finally opened City Petcare Hospital Surrey in 2008. Dr. J. Bassi is the only doctor currently working at City Petcare. He has over 30 years experience in the animal health field. He has become a highly skilled doctor who remains well versed in the veterinary field and advancements. He takes pride in owning a practice that focuses on high quality patient care, up to date medical techniques and a strong bond with his clients. He believes in treating his staff, clients and patients like family with compassion and dignity through all stages of their lives.
Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant
Nicole has been working in the veterinary industry since 2003. In 2011 Nicole joined our team she brings a lot of experience and knowledge with her. Prior to starting her career, she volunteered with the BC SPCA for 4 years. In 2004 Nicole graduated as a certified Veterinary Office Assistant from Granville Business College. She has completed the Royal Canin nutritional programs such as, Maturity In Motion, the Dental Difference, Mobility and Slim fit as well as the Hills Nutritional Advocate course. Nicole has extensive knowledge in dog behavior and training using her personal experiences, commitment and caring nature. She continuously strives to provide the best care and service to our patients and their families. At home she cares for her 7 year old daughter and her Shih Tzu, Buddy and her doberman Twilight. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at the park, dancing, singing and painting.
Chelsea- Veterinary Assistant
Chelsea graduated from Granville Business College as a certified Veterinary Hospital Assistant in 2014. We hired her shortly after completing her practicum here at City Petcare Hospital. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her Shih Tzu, Sushi. She is currently working on becoming certified in all aspects of Royal Canin nutrition and working toward her Hills Nutritional Advocate certificate. In her spare time she enjoys movies and reading.
Margeory -Veterinary Assistant
Rachel - Veterinary Assistant
Rachel graduated from Douglas College as a certified Veterinary Office assistant in 2006. She is a certified Hills nutritional advocate as wll she is certified in all Royal canin diets. Rachel is excited to learn and become a productive member of our team. In her spare time she takes care of her basset hound Mischief. She enjoys reading and cross country skiing.
Minnie- Clinic Cat
This is Minnie, our office cat. Dr. Bassi took her in when she was a young adult. She is 9 years old. She enjoys greeting clients, eating treats and relaxing.
